To read from Scripture in accordance with liturgical plans and, by doing so, direct the Santa Cruz congregation in prayer.
 
 Lectors are mature and articulate men and women appointed by the Pastor to lead in the reading of Epistles, Psalms, and other prayers at weekend Masses and other liturgical ceremonies as directed.
