Mission: To provide parish long range strategic planning, acquire needed parish real estate property, plan and oversee all new parish construction and remodeling projects, and perform other duties as assigned by the pastor.
Santa Cruz successfully concluded a capital campaign to raise funds to construct additional parking and a 2-story addition to our present Religious Education Building, which will provide additional classrooms for our parish religious education programs, school and adult ministry meetings. Construction is started in November 2014 with occupancy scheduled for August 2015. Plans can be found on this page under
Building Committee members carry out this mission by soliciting and utilizing parish input, working with outside consultants as needed, following diocesan building procedures and policies, and reporting progress to the parish on a timely basis. Working under the direction of the Pastor, members of the Santa Cruz Building Committee facilitate the highest-value construction and most effective long-term maintenance for facilities that best serve the parish needs.
The Pastor appoints eight to ten members having needed expertise in facilities planning, construction and maintenance to serve an unspecified length of term.
Meeting Schedule: Meets as needed
